Matrixed Systems was an exhibition initially running from May 29 to June 29, 2026 at GLO Modern, 45 Market St, New York, NY. It was subsequently extended to July 31, 2026. Individuals, primarily women, were observed engaging with these systems, utilizing remote controls, or playing video games. The environment then transitioned to social gatherings, featuring groups of people conversing or congregating around televisions, indicative of a public event. A subsequent phase focused on transit, with observations detailing views from within cars, encompassing external scenery and window reflections, before highlighting trains as seen from both car and train windows. The setting then shifted to instructional or presentation spaces, characterized by white walls displaying large sheets of paper, posters, and textual information, often alongside desks and laptops. The event concluded with recurring depictions of rooms featuring prominent wall-mounted televisions or large black screens, consistently accompanied by windows and, at times, appliances such as air conditioners, radiators, microwaves, or refrigerators, suggesting diverse functional spaces.
